ExtractometerThe CAPTRONIC company designs and produces extractometers within the framework of Technical Inspections on lifting rings or retaining screws with chemical anchors in the Off-Shore sector of activity or anchoring systems in Civil Engineering.
These extraction systems generate a force to test the pull-out resistance of a fastener, screw, anchor attached to a wall. There are 3-foot and 2-foot extractometers. These allow you to move and position yourself with a support zone in tight spaces. The force can be generated by a screw-nut system when the test efforts are low, otherwise by hydraulic cylinder with manual pump.
A portable display allows you to read the value of the force generated in Kg, ton, daN, KN, Lbs. We design and manufacture force generators for construction sites from 1 ton to 400 tons.
The isometric views below show a system intended to measure the strength of lifting anchors or "Eye pad" up to 60 tons.   In off-shore activities, the rings welded to the building are part of the lifting chain and must be checked periodically as lifting devices or accessories.
This extractometer is subject to certification by a Control Office specialized in lifting devices and is used during maintenance, inspection and during the certification program of our customers. Every lifting eye or lifting point can become a potential hazard in a load moving operation. For this reason, a periodic check must be carried out.
These non-destructive tests correspond to equipment inspection techniques. Testing is then part of the product life cycle, such as manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, etc.
