Access to the nominal value of the force in the measurement of screw or stud tension force in tightening is essential in the knoledge and monitoring of the behavior of screwed assemblies.
We equip the screws with strain gauges and can thus after calibration correlation of the tightening force with the measured outpt signal coming from the wheatstone bridge,this signal is proportional to the strain.
It is sometimes difficult or even impossible to correlate a tightening torque value with a tightening efficiency due to many parameters difficult to handle :friction coefficient ,sscrew and nut dimension, differential thermal coefficient .
